day 3 of parikrama started well – with a bright and cheerful dawn
it appeared that the distance of six km should be a cakewalk, a leisurely stroll.
, but became more interesting with a couple of climbs and beautiful views and the end of the parikrama was in sight, when we saw our vehicles waiting for us.
after that, it was a long ride back.
to Saga via Darchen and then to Kathmandu the next day. we crossed some rain and mist as we passed Nyalam – and could not recognize the place.
it looked beautiful, more like the hill stations we had seen in the tropics.
the last day – day 14 – was back to Bangalore via new Delhi. this time, fortunately, we could get our luggage checked in directly all the way to Bangalore, though we had to clear customs in Delhi.
back home after 2 weeks, the curd rice was heavenly for dinner!
Yes, you're welcome! For the curd rice that is! :P
